Sleep Sound Mix privacy
Sleep Sound Mix (the "App") is published by Karya Boyraz. The App is designed with a privacy-first philosophy.
What the App does NOT collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store on any server:
- Your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials
- Your device identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app tracking signal
- Your IP address or geographic location
- Your usage analytics, session length, or screen views
- Crash reports
The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking networks.
Data stored on your device
The App stores the following information locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you back up your iPhone via iCloud (in which case Apple, not us, controls it):
- The names and track combinations of your saved sound mixes
- Your most recently selected sleep timer duration
- Whether you have an active Pro subscription (cached so the App doesn't have to ask Apple's servers on every launch)
Data Apple processes for in-app purchases
When you buy or restore a Pro subscription, the transaction is handled directly by Apple's StoreKit. We see only the result ("entitled" or "not entitled"); we do not see your payment details or your Apple ID. Apple's privacy policy for these transactions is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Audio session
The App requests permission to play audio in the background so that your sleep mix continues when you lock your phone. It does not record audio, access your microphone, or read your media library.
Live Activities
When you start a sleep timer, a Live Activity (Dynamic Island / lock-screen countdown) is shown using Apple's ActivityKit. The countdown is computed on-device. No data is sent to a remote server to power the Live Activity.
Children
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what data the App handles, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change.
